Gold leasing enabled by Monetary Metals
Gold leasing is the foundation of GLDY’s yield-generation model. It transforms idle gold holdings into productive, income-generating assets, without selling or relinquishing title of the underlying metal. Through Streamex’s partnership with Monetary Metals, gold held in custody is lent to eligible and approved businesses in the gold ecosystem (e.g., refiners, mints, and jewelry manufacturers) that require temporary access to physical metal for operations. In return, these lessees pay a lease fee that is denominated and settled in gold, allowing investors grow their holdings over time in real metal terms rather than fiat equivalents.
